Which Threshold To Use? [Pic]

Tiles not adhered yet. Both floors same height. I left space for expansion gap but am wondering which threshold to use. Was thinking just a standard flat gold one and screwing it to the sub floor at the gap between both floors... then packing the space with cork unless there's a better idea?

Also anyone know the maximum acceptable thickness that flexible thinset tile adhesive can be used under the tiles? I have some which I had to put 1/2" worth of adhesive under due to unlevel sub floor. Cheers.

Think I would go for a timber bar to match the wood floor myself, why introduce another finish?

Ideally threshold should be hidden under door, agree timber would look neater.
