whirlpool workmans 3rd visit

we have w/pool d/washer adp4501/5, fitter on 3rd visit in 3 weeks. he has replacedmotor & clamp,switch & something(cant read his writing). dont want to tell him what to do but im losing days off my work waiting for all day appointments. thanks for any info

the dishes etc do not get washed properly &the tablet is not dissolved. the machine fills up ok and goes through the cycle and turns off ok.we have tried all types of tablets, fitter hinted at what quality used! sorry for lack of info earlier

Several possibilities. Most common first.
Check that the spray arms aren't blocked, especially the holes at the end which propel the arms.
Dishwasher air freshner (dangly thing) hanging from top basket and fouling top spray arm.
Top basket too low and top spray arm fouling on items on bottom basket.
Not heating the water.
Feed pipe to top spray arm popped out of socket at rear of mesh filter.
Wash pump / motor failing or blocked. (I'll assume this part has been replaced).

Does the engineer run it through a diagnostic programme?
Does he plug an electronic unit into the dishwasher pcb?

If it's washing all the way through in cold water then the tablet won't dissolve, it will drop out of the dispenser when you open the door.
If this is the case then the pcb software is corrupted or the pcb has failed.
Whirlpool engineers can rewrite the software to the pcb using their SAM module.
