A Republican congressman (Thomas Massie) has been criticised for posting a Christmas picture of himself and his family posing with guns.

Imagine if this was a Muslim family, white privilege at its best.

Try Google images, Muslim families with guns. Fair few. Only difference is women don't have appear to have guns very often but 8 year old kids do.

Population of USA about 333,000,000
About 44% of US citizens have access to guns in the household, so that's about 150,000,000.
How does that compare to a "fair few"?

The Right To Bear Arms was meant for whites only. Everyone knows that.
I'm pretty sure it didn't include the indigenous population.
And it definitely didn't extend to black people.

Ownership - possibly. The right to bear arms - no. They will be shot on sight.

blimey I never knew that noseall

I thought providing you had a legitimate licence you were allowed to bear arms irrespective of yer ethnicity

Black people used to be lynched, once upon a time in the USA - for doing nowt. These days they get blasted with a shotgun or suffocated to death. The people who do this won't get arrested either, unless there is public outcry.

Imagine what they'd do if they saw a black man wandering around South Carolina with a gun slung across his chest.

I am well aware of the lynchings
They used to be a form of entertsinment in some states
Parents used to take there children to view the event

blimey I never knew that non whites were banned from gun ownership

jeez us
Apart from misquoting noseall, you should try some education.

But often absent in these debates is the intrinsic anti-Blackness of the unequal enforcement of gun laws, and the relationship between appeals to gun rights and the justification of militia violence. Throughout the history of this country, the rhetoric of gun rights has been selectively manipulated and utilized to inflame white racial anxiety, and to frame Blackness as an inherent threat.

According to Dr Jonathan Metzl, a psychiatrist and sociologist at Vanderbilt University, white supremacy is the key to understanding America’s gun debate.

Until around 1970, the aims of America’s firearms restrictionists and the aims of America’s racists were practically inextricable. In both the colonial and immediate post-Revolutionary periods, the first laws regulating gun ownership were aimed squarely at blacks and Native Americans.

It happens
And yet, that same month, a 22-year-old black man named John Crawford III was shot dead by the police in an Ohio Walmart after a white customer claimed excitedly that a man was pointing a gun at his fellow patrons. Later, the store’s security footage revealed that Mr. Crawford had been holding a BB gun that he had picked up in the sporting goods department, and that the caller’s testimony had been wrong. Ohio is an open carry state. That didn’t make much difference for Mr. Crawford.
