There are transient effects if the water hasn't had time to spread out. We gather from HM you're 43 stone. Ook, so if you jumped in, it would be detectable on a seismometer attached to to a column. More easily detectable if it were the one right by you.
You, and the boat, have mass and therefore weight, but as long as you're floating, the weight is exactly the same as that of the water you/it displaced.
Your massive booty would be a new intoduction to the canal system, (as opposed to the boat , which was already floating in it somewhere) so the entire water level would rise a little.. But once things had flowed and evened out, no amount of pressure sensors all over the canal system would be able to tell where YOU were.
A microphone would if you were making a noise, and that's a sort of pressure sensor, but.....!...
