wiki??

Can anyone enlighten me what the "wiki" is all about, I'm a bit of a Numpty when it comes to PCs but when I go to the Wiki there seems to be nothing to see just a heading and a blank page,guess it's operator error but I'm sure theres lots of good stuff in there if I could only access it

A bit like an information centre where anybody add a useful information about diy.

its basicly where someone writes somthing then anyone can come along and edit whats printed
the idea being somone writes somthing [an instilation guide for example] then other people add to or correct mistakes

but in general most people are reluctant to alter some one elses posting as all points are valid and theres always several ways to skin a cat

Electrics UK
Electrics Outside of the UK
Floors / Stairs / Lofts / Floor Tiling
Gardening
Plumbing and Central Heating
Roofing and Guttering
Safety
Tools and Materials
Windows and Doors
Wood / Woodwork / Carpentry

in there, its ongoing so some may not have any info yet, the electrical and plumbing sections definitely have lots of useful info.
