We are doing up ur bathroom on a very small budget and are virtually skint now, it is a relatively small bathroom but it does get bad condensation so we do need an extractor fan.

We have some money on a argos gift card so we could get one of these xpelair units for free but what I want to know is will they do a decent job, has anyone fitted one? Are they nice and quiet? And also as we will be fitting this into where an air brick currently is do we need anything else to sit between this fan unit and the current exterior grill?

Any help would be great as we are really struggling financially at the mo but want to make a good job so we are happy with bathroom for a good few years.

Many thanks in advance for any help or advice you can offer.

As fans go they are good, quiet and reliable. You may need a tube between the fan and the exterior grill, (but this is only 100mm drain) depending on wall thickness.

How are you going to connect to the power supply?

Thanks for the reply, Ok so it sounds like it may well do the job for us then. We have an electrician coming to fit a new shower unit and wiring so I am sure he could fit and wire this in so it works with the lights.
