Window Fitter or Builder????

Hi, We want a new window installed but because we want it moved 8 inches
should we find ourselves a window fitter or builder because there will be 'moving bricks' involved ?????? We have purchased the window ourselves so it is not part of a job by a window installation company.

You need to ask yourself who's going to sign the installation off plus theres building work involved so I believe a fensa or certass registered fitter cannot

Yes a window fitter won't want it now anyway, seeing as you have the window already, get a builder to do it. In anycase I would be cautious allowing any fitter to be making new openings.

BTW as crank mentioned it needs Building Regulations approval, technically.
