sugguestions ?

Install a hard wired one. Running cables is work but the low reliability of wireless alarms make the extra work of hard wired necessary.

Look at the specifications and choose a system whose specification matches ( closest ) to your requirement.

I have a customer who works for security co. They do not recommend wireless as they are:
1. unreliable
2. can be jammed by 'the lads'
3. advertise that you are just playing at burglar alarms 7 not serious about security.

He had had one of these fitted & just did one for myself over Xmas.

Running wires can be tricky but can be invisible given a bit of thought (and a touch of filler)
