Anyone know if they exist? Can't face re-routing cable across the house due to major revamp at home. A wireless CH contol timer thermostat thing would be just the job...

If they DON'T exist a) why not and b) someone could make a million.....

i made one, it had two wires, i took one away, and now it is a wireless

There are several. SOme just thermostats, some programmable stats. I have some I bought "surplus" -email me if interested. (Addr in Profile).

I used to fit Drayton digitsat 3's which are fine. Last week I fitted a Honeywell 7 day roomstat and it's the dogs doodahs - party button, next day off button, I'm away for the next xx days button - 45 quid.

fellas, i hate to say this, but as he said

And thats exactly what a Digistat RF3 is, time control and thermostat, Honeywell one is the same only better.

Think its drayton rf3 is wireless programmable room stat
rf1 is just wireless room stat .
I'm sure theres other makes but thats just what I use

He wants a wireless programmer not a programable stat.
I think we need a wireless programmer pack which would comprise of a wireless programmer room stat cylinder stat motorised valve and wireless boiler connecter, that would be brilliant and really fek off part p t***s, would only need the sender with a 3 pinplug pluggging into any convenient socket and away you go, you could plug it into a bedroom socket so it 's not even in a kitchen or bathroom, nah nah fekin nah nah :P

Look at WabbitPoo's post, the poor guy told us what he wanted, why do tradesmen always contradict and tell us we need something different? What WabbitPoo suggested was a programmable stat. Just sell the guy what he wants, esp since he's right.

to be clear, what I would like is a room thermostat/timer box thingy which transmits wirelessly to the combi boiler.

Look at Danfoss TP5000 RF wireless pack. One of the easiest units to programe and use. Loads of features as well. Honeywell is good, but the client can be inundated with too many facilities. Last job I was on, even the enginner who fitted the unit could not programme it, let alone tell the client how to use it.
