When setting up a new TV using the auto-tune search feature an [adult] channel was found. Bit grainy but enough to lock the tuner onto it.

It was the RF output from a video recorder in a nearby house.

I remember a similar incident many, many years ago. In a block of flats somewhere in Italy, residents found they had a new channel to watch - a very interesting new channel!

It was somebody's home made video coming out of the VCR's RF output socket and, thanks to the communal aerial system, going to every TV in the block.
