Hi all,

I’m changing my lights from the basic single cord lights to more decorative. I have done a few but stumped with the hallway light as it has three sets of wires coming from the ceiling. My new light (Dunelm) only has 3 holes to put these cables in. Any ideas how I tackle this?

Many thanks in advance.

You put the ceiling wires into four connectors (either the old fashioned connector blocks or modern equivalents) and run three single wires to your new light fitting.

Thank you, so would I just wire it the way it has been wired now but into a 4 connector rather than the 3 supplied with the light?
