Just purchased a 6kw griddle & probably won't have a problem wiring it in with correct rated breakers etc (but still have to look at that one), but will I still have to commission a 'qualified lecky to cert it when I'm done before i throw the switch?
Given that you are bound by the Electricity at Work Regulations (amongst other H&S stuff), and have public liability factors to consider, insurance Ts'n'Cs, lease clauses etc, I say you should just get an electrician in to do the lot.
Mmmm..must admit, I was debating calling in the heavy mob & the issue with public liability is very real. Might go the professional route. Thanks for the advice
