im wanting to replace one of my light switches with a dimmer switch. its a 2 gang switch and both can be switched from another point (same switch 2gang) i have read up and belive im right in buying a slave unit for the other swich. The wire i have at one switch are 2 twin brown cables and 2 single browns with a link between. The other side has 2 twin browns with another 2 single browns but there is no link.
Ive tried several ways but i cant get the lights to go on? the diagram looks as if i need a third cable connecting the switches? if anyone could give me some help it would be gratefully appreciated.
