Wiring outdoor lighting

So I have 2 LED up and down lights on the front of the garage and I would like to add 2 more onto the side of the garage which borders the garden.

The existing lights are powered and linked to a switch in the garage and my plan is to wire from the exiting lights to the new lights.

If I wire them in series with twin and earth is that normal practice?

You just connect the new lights to the same wires as the existing lights.

This is called in parallel; not in series.
