Wiring up a Dvd Vid Sky and the telly (SPOKE TO SOON!)

Can anyone tell me how to link the lot up?..the telly has three scarts.

Well...no because apparently you have to link the video to the sky box...but thats all I know

the sky box should have dedicated scarts for the tv and video,the dvd i should imagine then straight to one of the tv scarts

I sat for hours with the manuals for the TV, video, DVD, and Sky box. Gave up in the end. One thing I learned is that you can't trust the manuals to tell you anything.

Plug video into the sky box where it says "VCR/video". Make sure all 21 scart wires are connected (if its a good one you can unscrew its end and open up carefully). This lead will serve to switch the sky box over to the VCR to playback, when you press play on the video. It will also let you record sky channels via scart.

Then use another good scart cable between the tv and sky box.

DVD straight to the TV. If available, use 3phono wires for this. (red white and yellow)

Aerial goes from aerial - sky - video - tv (for full functionality)

O dear...just found out we dont have a pic from the vid only a blue screen with sound...

So far we have.......

video into sky.....sky into tv...tv into dvd...

Main airiel into sky..... sky into dvd...dvd into video....video into tv...

Suggestions?...before mrs zampa sticks somethjing into/up me..
