What do you class as work?

Do you reckon the DL sits around all day playing chess?

Do you think he ever worries about paying bills, a mortgage or a pension?

What about paying for the upbringing of family and children, paying for their education and leaving some for of inheritance.

It is very easy for someone with no financial responsibilities to spin a moral tale about the destructive pursuit of wealth.
 
I would think being the Dali Lama would require one to have a good understanding of it (the condition of man) and he is there to offer the 'alternative' viewpoint

Yes far better to listen to some chav who has the experience of fathering a few dozen children and gets his financial advice down the pub on how to swindle the local social security offices funded by taxpayers.

Not enough to change my life drastically on the basis of it. But as a piece of throw away commentary about working ourselves ill then spending ourselves well, sure. Nothing more than a little reminder to keep balance and moderation in your life imo.
