Hi,
We are totally flummoxed. There is a lot of conflicting advice on how to lay wooden flooring onto a concrete floor.
Ideally we do not want to lay a floating floor, or ply down first, just lay the wooden floor directly onto the concrete, but..
- Do we need to DPM first
- Do we need to glue the wood down?
- if we have DPM will glue stick to it? (it is the bathroom we are doing.)
- if we do not use glue, will the wood stay in place?
Any advice or hints and tips would be greatly appreciated!
Thanks
Katie
