I repair Worcestors a lot but I having a problem with (I think) the customer as opposed to the boiler.
Replaced PRV July 06 (filling loop letting by). 6 Months later customer informs me PRV has gone again.
Replaced under guarantee.
Filling loop disconnected, ex/vessel still holding approx 1bar charge and working and 2 months later same fault.
Customer states pressure has never risen above 2 bar when system is at max temp.
Replace again, and today (a month later) ...same fault.
Am I overlooking something stoopid here?
Mains not entering via plate by the way - checked it.
I really think its over pressurisation by customer but he catagorically (sic) he has never done that.
Any ideas?
David
