Worst pan connector setup? Help

Hi all,
I’m in the UK and need some advice. My toilet keeps blocking and I think it’s down to the pan connector setup — photos attached.

As you can see, the outlet goes into a big white elbow that loops upward before dropping into the floor. It clogs constantly.

What’s the right fix here — new offset or flexible pan connector, or a complete new toilet?

Appreciate any tips or product suggestions.

Looks ok imo, that's a space saving pan connector. Has anything ever fallen into the toilet that shouldn't have, eg a rim block? Maybe it's the drain? Toilet could be removed to check behind connection.

Is that a 9 litre flush? You won't get a better flushing toilet.

You do need a new toilet set, and fix the leaking flush pipe.

Also the towel rad needs replacing.

You wrote "toilet set" so I obviously thought you meant a new "toilet set".(toilet, flush etc)

My issue is just blockage. I appreciate the point on flush, towel rad etc) .
But I am only trying to figure out if this design is something to be fixed or needs replacing.

Its been like that for years. I somehow feel its a bad design and easy to get blocked? Am I wrong or are these type of designs common?
I shall attempt to remove as you said and check is something actually blocks it.

Yes, very common and the design is fine.

Great. Might be worth checking the manholes outside too

Black fin seal is distorted and may be obstructing Flow at base as well as causing leak . Needs replacing , the adaptor has been forced too far into toilet outlet causing distortion .
The original toilet probably sat over the outlet instead of in front of it .

Swan neck pan connector is a tried and trusted method for connecting a standard P trap horizontal spigot pan to a floor stack inlet.

That being said the pan may originally have been an S trap vertical outlet which would have been better suited.

That pan connector isn't right though and would suggest it all needs taken apart and checked and then re-fitted properly, pan may have to come forward a few inches to make it all fit properly.

Given the condition of the Pan etc, it begs the question is the issue down to poor installation in the first place. I'm with the Others above, Pan looks to me to be set too far back, hence Pan Connector seal on the outlet of the pan is distorted. There is also at least one screw missing to secure the Pan to the floor, and a leak on Flush pipe.

I'd suggest getting a decent Plumber to remove the pan, set and fix it properly, with a replacement Pan Connector and Flush Pipe and Cone to suit. You may find that solves the issue.
