Would I need to update the fuse box in my home?

Hi Guys,

I have been wondering whether I should update my fusebox because I have had it for 7 years now.

Would this be necessary?

Fuse boxes were not installed 7 years ago. Do you perhaps mean a consumer unit?

If so there is no reason why a correctly installed 7 year old CU would need updating.

They can still be installed and sometimes are, e.g. a Redfield distribution board for flats.
