Wrong kitchen tap

I foolishly purchased a Hansgrohe single lever mixer 260 tap for my new fitted kitchen. Apparently we have a gravity fed system so all I get when using hot water is a poor stream. Cold is OK as mains fed. Returning the tap and buying another really isn't an option. I thought very carefully about the design of tap because that was very important to me but stupidly forgot the technical stuff (obviously more important!)
Anything else I can do to improve things? In the bathroom all taps, shower etc are pumped. Is this an option downstairs? Thanks in advance. Any help appreciated.

Yes, you would need to identify where the kitchen tap is supplied from, disconnect that and connect to the pumped hot output instead.
