Well folks, it's the welcome return of that time of the week again!

This week we have a clock point supplied from a socket circuit.

Apologies for the abscence of this feature for the last few weeks. I've been very busy on a little project :D
 
No earth to the clock point
Single insulated wire, looks like 'bell wire'
No fuse for the clock wires
Socket already supplies another spur by the looks of it - 3 other cables in there.
Grommet pulled out of socket backbox
Solid green sleeving = old, also looks damaged
 
Lazy & careless decorating.

Clock back-box crooked.

How is the socket box fixed, and to what? Looks like a stud partition wall...
 
Yep. It was a stud partition wall. The back box is fixed to a noggin.
