Whats happened to these so called DIY stores

The weekend I went to 3 different brands of major DIY stores *&*, W***** and H*** B*** in each of the 2 Cities looking for Corner Mouldings for plaster coving. Not the plain mitred corners as I can do them myself, but the fancy ones with abit of scrolling in them.

Nothing, not even if you wish to mix your own Adhesive.

The last time I got some of about 5 years ago from *&*, nothing today.

I know I could order online from Artex, but time was against me.

Same old thing, if it don't sell - don't stock it !!!

I was actually out looking for some coving to match the stuff in my living room last weekend too.

I went everywhere I could think of and no one had anything which was an exact match.

Can't beleive it's not a stock item.

Oh, I've got about 30 m of that coving in me shed if you like, along with o's fork handles and 13amp rubber plugs.

Nope got that as well, along with tartan paint and rubber hammers.
