You're missing out a lot of the wiring. Fair enough to omit the earths for clarity, but in your photo I can definitely see 4 conductors in that switch box, but your diagram only shows 2....

Also your diagram shows 2 switches, but you've only mentioned 1 so far.

The first switch is in the other room

use a piece of terminal block..
connect the 2 blues together.
connect the 2 browns together.
connect the 2 earths to the metal backbox..

turn the breaker back on..

what happens..???

the lights are working !

In that case, connect the two earths (green/yellow) to the earth terminal of the metal switch. Connect the two blue wires to a terminal block (gently push this into the back box so it isn't fouled by the fixing screws or switch). Connect one brown to "C" and one to "L1".

Do the lights work correctly?

yes all good just needed to connect the right wires

If you can't then I suggest you never do anything with your wiring and switches and sockets etc again except just use them...
