The best solution is an unvented cylinder of perhaps 210 litres or more depending on the number of people living there and a suitable sized heat only boiler perhaps about 15 kW depending on the heat loss of the house.
Can I install the cylinder on the ground floor near to the boiler? Its just that in all the diagrams I've seen showing unvented cylinders, they've always been shown upstairs or in the attic.
