What time do you get up?

I get up like a King, whenever I well feel like it, usually around 9 - 10 am

Ahhhhhh the perks of having no livlihood at the moment, are awsome. 8)

I wake up around 06:30, but it takes me nearly an hour to get up at the moment. So, I get up at 07:30.

I find that my waking time is based mostly on the time the sun rises, and how clear the sky is. So, in the middle of summer on a clear day I usually wake up around 5-6am, but in the middle of winter it's hard to get up by 09:00 on some days!

I've noticed that my ability to sleep in diminishes year-on-year, so whereas I used to be able to sleep in until 1pm on a Saturday, I now find it hard to sleep past 10. If my relatives are anything to go by, when I hit 60 I will start waking up at 4am regardless.

You need the most sleep when you are in your late teens to early 20's - thats why teenagers stay in bed. As you get older you need less and less. Its not unknown for people in there 80's to need only 4-5 hours on a regular basis.

by wearing sunglasses at different times of the day you can shift your sleeping patterns given time.

When I lost my job last year, I used to get up at around 11:00 because in the space of 3 months, I'd lost my job, separated from my wife, and my car's engine went kaput. During those dark days I'd average around 13-15 hours a day  with the remaining 9 or so getting to such a state where I needed 13-15 hours!

Least I have a job now, sobered up (a bit) So now it's one of 2 times either :-

05:00 to get to work around 7 or
08:30 to get to work around 10

This way avoids the worst of the madness that is the M25

I stay up late to answer all my fan mail.

Then I get up early to write some more.

shifty you appear to be trolling.

you are positively on ignore. save your energy for working

I dont start work till 09:30, i avoid all the rush here in rural Lincolnshire. I live about 500 yards from my allotment and half a mile from work. If the 4 sets of traffic lights are all green i can get to work in 3 minutes, if they all at red it takes me 7 minutes. I run a 2 litre mondeo and my work/home fuel bill is £12 a week :D

like to have routine, get up at 6, have clothes sorted from night before, wash, step into clothes, check local travel and weather while having glass of orange juice, waken other half at 6.35 and leave for my hour and half commute to work on the bus
