Hi everyone, I'm new to the forum, and rolled in to my welcome post, I'd like to ask a quick question!

I just wanted to double check something, before I cause any damage to anyone/anything.

I have an intermediate switch, but really what I needed was a simple one way, I've lost the receipt - can I use it as a one way light switch? the room has the old wiring (black/red etc) for the current light switch.

The intermediate switch has two L1's up the top, and 2 L2's at the bottom, please confirm where these 2 wires should go!

It all may seem like a silly question, as I've got an idea as to where, but I want to make sure I'm doubly sure.

Any help would be great!

Yes you can, look here,
One of the wires should have a brown or red sleeve on it, this is the switch wire

Hmm I'm not at home at the moment, but I can't remember it having a sleeve :-( that diagram is confusing me slightly further, I shop examine it tonight. Thanks for your reply!
