MANAGER OF THE YEAR

There is only one real competitor, Tony Pullis, but Stoke would have to lift the Cup for him to have a real chance.

David Moyes won Manager Of The Month 3 times in 2010

as for MOTY ? Does it go on trophy win or a non-expectant high finish in table ?

It just has to be King Kenny.

No it doesn't. There has been no stand out manager this season, or should I say no stand out team. Dalglish has done alright but he inherited a decent squad; players usually perform based on how confident they're feeling. Liverpool players had lost confidence in Woy; Dalglish came in, massive expectations around Anfield but also confidence in his ability, and the players fed off it. To back up my point re: confidence, see Torres and the Rooney of a few months back.

For me it has to be Pulis, Coyle, Ferguson (how many other managers could win the league and get to the CL with that team?), or Alan Pardew. Pardew hasn't been at Newcastle much longer than Dalglish has been at Liverpool, but Newcastle are a completely different team to Liverpool. He lost Carroll in January and with a few exceptions, his squad is not the sort of quality you'd expect of Newcastle United.

I think when weighing all comments up, on the balance of properbility, unless stoke win the Cup, it just has to be Kenny.

If fergie gets a point today and wins utd their 19th title he is the ONLY choice

Dalglish has won nothing though he has improved the team but no way a contender

Fergie has no chance. He has been lucky, as no team in contention for the title this season has been dominant.

Besides, the football world, as well as true football fans, have had enough of his, and his teams outbursts.

Enjoy fantasy land
I bet dalglish wishes he was half as lucky

19th title on the way 19th on the way

Its Kenny's for the taking now after Stoke's defeat at Wembley

We had a surprise result against Spurs today at Anfield, but hopefully that will not affect Kenny being awarded the much deserved accolade of 'Manager of the Season' - I know I am biased but he has dramatically turned the team around since being appointed in January.

I watched it and for the first half you were outplayed all over the pitch, the second half I wasn't paying much attention so I cannot comment

As for MOTY, a massive unbias NO, if he would have got you into Chamions League then it would be worth a small punt, as present you are not even in Europa

Next season, who knows maybe a top 4 spot depending how Kenny spends this 100 million, if he bags Young that would be a better buy than the 2 you got for 50 million put together
