What did night or day mean to the Apollo missions as they.....

What will it mean when we go beyond the moon?

I’m sure God has an answer to that in his 'Book of Life' looking up/down/left/right on us 'pond life'.

We are only "up" in a man made globe. It's all relative.

Cope with that flat-earther's. Oh, I'm sorry! You accept the world is, sort of, round these days; at long last...

Late night thought..

As an Atheist, I would probably find more love, comfort and solace in my local church than the b*ll s**t I get every day on TV news and the disrespect and vile behaviour I see on my streets.

Maybe I should go and see for myself what my dear late Mother saw in the RC faith this weekend. When I was at school I did like the sing songs if I’m honest. (Still thought the God thing was nonsense mind).

This makes me wonder, would I be able to attend, (as a white English R.C. indoctrinated guy), how I would be welcome, or not, to a Mosque or would I be cast out before I even got through the door?

I think if anyone turned up at a Christian Church you would be welcome, so long as your were not disruptive or overtly disrespectful.

I may miss the Andrew Marr show this Sunday and see for myself what it's like these days. If it’s anything like the Christian women I met in America, I may need some condoms soon after...

But I was a gentleman and fell in love with one woman when I was over there and was loyal/faithful, so I will never know just how 'Christian' others were...

This isn’t about America or American woman for me, it’s about b*ll s**t and hypocrisy. And you know what? It’s rife throughout the world!

I dont see why not , providing you went there with an open mind and genuinely good intentions.

I have worked in various Mosques and never had a issue with them, nor them with myself.

Still it does not mean I agree with them or the churches I have worked in.

If your user name suggests what you do and your post indicates that your have been of service to Mosques, shouldn't god be taking care of that? ;)

Goodnight, god bless and don't let the bugs bite...

Tone :)

Said it before but... “Science won over religion when they started putting lightning conductors on churches"

Actually it was physical security and locksmith services for these not electronic.

Point taken though :D

Or , perhaps they thought that when god sent down a bolt or two of lightening it would be more sensible to direct it to earth?
What of god created science?
Science could never equal god , we have no science that could actually create a universe, cosmos, all of this or what ever you want to call it.
Or perhaps building regs or/and insurance companies insist on it?

Now your enforcing a view that god actually exists.

Tut tut, see the Travellers thread.

If you wish to know I dont , but I am trying to see reason in why people do, rather than dismiss their belief as a misconception..

I do not either, have tried to understand. But nothing so far has convinced me. That includes a Catholic mother, whom never jammed it down my throat and never had me baptised/christened (?) as she felt it was down to me when older.

I feel exactly the same way. I also think that that is my own personal thing and not something I would like to have questioned, as I would not question others about theirs.
I would however listen to why they believe what they believe, or not I guess, It's not something I talk about much..

The thing about god is that he's either mischievous or useless.

My reasoning is that if god does indeed exist, why the heck does he keep coming down and do a load of shirt-stirring every so often, creating new beliefs for people to follow, argue and hence war and kill over? Or, if he does exist, why not come down and sort it out once and for all? If the argument is that it is vital that we "believe" and don't factually "know", then why did he bother coming down in the first place?

The only conclusion that one can draw is that he has never come down nor spoken to anyone in a prophetic way, and therefore that all religions based on the assumption of his involvement are bunkum.

Why do you think it/god even came here bin the first place? Perhaps he/it has more important things to do?
There seems to be a common belief that if he exists we would somehow be important to him/her/it?
Perhaps we have very little if any significance in any kind of grand scheme of things, of there is one, or even if there isnt.
