What rules have I broken with Gas Safe then Micky lad? Just one... I'd be happy with one rule that my posting here are broken.... come on. You can do. Perhaps you can even post it in a coherent manner.

I have been reading some of your contributions to the GD forum. Class - pure class. I wonder how you remember to breathe sometimes

Is there any warranty to guarantee a fix of a boiler? because I paid a lot of money twice, then the boiler failed. And the engineer won't come back to fix.

The first got angry, after fitting the wrong sized fuse, and killed my boiler, totally inept. The second, spent a long time thinking...fixed a previous fault caused by an engineer...but a week later, it fails again..I phone up, he treats it like a new fault, I send an email, no response. So do I say fix what is broken under a warranty? or do I go to trading standards? Either way, I had a broken boiler, and still have a broken boiler..How can someone come into your home, fix something, charge a lot of money, but it is broken. Refund? or small claims court?

To avoid this sort of thing you really should get a contract with British Gas or another large company, gotta come back...and you can moan when the engineer gets to you late too!!

Thanks for the link to this thread dan, cheered me up no end
;)
:D

I would help u out , but I do not travell up North , in fact any thing the other side of Northampton is a no go area for me , I have heard all sorts of ?? well disturbing reports ??

Do you blame your doctor if you have flu and then get flu a second or third time?

Will have to remember that one.

Regarding the meter, BG aren't responsible for that, they merely supply your Gas.
If you have a contract with BG i.e. First Fix, First visit there is a fixed charge for repair and then you monthly payment for cover for everything on your system from boiler thru rads, valves stats etc.. If he gets it wrong you won't be charged for subsequent call outs.
You're paying an insurance policy really.

dunno why i used those quotes above for my post didn't mean to..apologies for any head scratching by anyone
