i think this site must adopt a particular political stance... quite middle of the road i guess? So where do we stand on strongly political motivated posters.... in particular, as an example strong anti black views like Joe 90's? should this be tolerated? as it does involve the whole site .... doesn't it?

I wouldn't say it involves the whole site. For instance, I don't see anti immigration rearing it's head on the woodworking forum. You certainly don't see racist rants on the sparky's forum. Nahh only here in GD do you see such things.
I don't think the site is moderated as heavily as Screwfox forums are. They even delete links to any other sites now (for fear they are competitors) (you can put up a link to the NHS on SF and it will be deleted by the mods there and as far as I know SF aren't offering op's on the cheap,,, yet).
I'm still led to believe this country holds free speech as a basic right, therefore whether people on here discuss topics you may not agree with, everyone has the right to have their say on a range of subjects.
Strange that certain things which were tolerated in the 60's and 70's are now pooh ,pooh'd. Political Correctness now seems to rule the roost (but only to the detriment of the indigenous UK population).

yes i agree it's on GD... my point is that racist views need to be stamped on...but it seems people can't agree on what is a racist view !!! i',m a bit disappointed that if i challenge DIYnot i get deleted, but is someone says all blacks should go home.... we get a 14 page thread.... unbelievable !!

Do courts/authorities take such a dim view of black, or coloured, on white racism? I don't think so. They, or rather, some of the population, have been almost brainwashed by the Guardianistas of society, that they believe racism can only be white people , calling coloured people.
Why do we tolerate the Black Police Officers Federation? Do the Met have a White Police Officers Federation?? If not ,, Why Not ????? The PC brigade asks for everyone to be treated equally, then ban such things that would show true equality.

Where are these views then? It's the Poles and illegal immigrants I want to go home. The Poles can come back when our young people are in full employment.
