Peaps Peaps That was just a load of Hyperbole ! The only thing that happened was the trap was smashed I didn't do anything else I was just winding up the oppo !!! Me poison two dogs Never ! I thought from all the other posts you would have realized that !
Burning out cars etc etc er not really !!!

He was trapping anykind of bird so that he could teach his son to kill without compassion, I was told the names of the birds but I can't remember what they were. when they were let out they were flapping about and couldn't fly and were then blasted with a shotgun.

I think it would have been much more fun to barricade the doors on the out side set fire to the house and shoot at the farmer and his family as they tried to escape from the windows, wearing animal masks and making barking noises. he would have probably enjoyed seeing his family slaughtered first by gun toting animals I'm assuming he would have appreciated the 'sport'.

Breaking up an illegal trap that was only the start you should have seen what we did over two years !

 sabotaged two tractors burnt out three cars smashed windows and poisoned his two dogs. cost him his marriage and his farm.

It was a while back and we did act like terrorists I'll admit now but I was younger..........wouldnt do it now but it seemed like a good idea at the time

Clear cut if you ask me.

Peaps I'm on your side ......wearing animal masks and barking whilst shooting the farmer and his family saying they would like it as "Sport" etc etc come on it was a joke ! so was burning cars etc etc surely from my posts you can see I wouldn't poison anything !

No I'm on my own side.

Yes maybe, but I share your views and in that respect I'm on your side and I'd stand by you for your views.

The post was so unbelievable about wearing animal heads and barking whilst shooting at the farmer burning out cars and poisoning dogs was a poke at the "sporting " fraternity I thought it was so ridiculous no one would actually believe what I was posting, unfortunately many did.
So I unwaveringly apologize for any problem caused but not about any insults thrown at blood sports participants.

We share one view and that's animal cruelty is wrong, that's where it ends. You quote PETA and I don't support them or many of their views, they kill animals for a start! You use studies on killers to demonise hunters but don't understand the study, you do realise that there is a difference to a hunter going out hunting and a killer seeking to use hunting as a way of playing out their fantasies, satisfying their need to control etc? Makes animal advocates look fools.

You made that post with the intent of making people believe you did what you wrote, anyone can see that. Made even more foolish because of the believability factor, your intention was clear and it wasn't designed to be a joke.

Its a quick reply because its late I disagree with you ...........to hunt for sport involves killing an animal for pleasure in my mind not too far removed fro psychos that torture animals. Both derive pleasure from killing animals not far removed from each other to me. End off .
To hunt for survival to eat is a different thing.
The fact that you believed the ridiculous comments I made is down to you. someone just after the post asked you the question "You don't actually believe. it do you ?" you did, others saw it was not a serious post.

Its an emotive issue and I can see why you might have believed me but that post was diametrically opposed to all my other posts on the subject so I thought the inconsistency would have been self evident, hence understood to be a poke at bloodies. The peta thing was lifted from a press quote thats all......... so dont assume that I'm a member of their fan club or anything else or that i support them.

Well it seems Hitler was right the bigger the lie.............

Peaps it was Enyam

who asked the question

"Peaps you don't actually believe anything written here ?"

It was meant to be too ridiculous to be true I thought that would be realized,

I'm sorry it wasn't. I really am.

I obviously haven't got in to the blood sports issue as deeply as yourself, nor do I profess to be well read on the subject, however my abhorrence of the issue is non the lesser for that than yours.

Outfoxed and Slaughter of the innocent were enough for me to read and be outraged.
some of the links posted on Dumb animals are absolutely fascinating showing that animals are indeed sentient.

Huntsman Richard Down of the Quantock Hills staghounds has been convicted for a second time under the Hunting Act. He was convicted for hunting a wild mammal with more than two dogs. Down had three.

Down’s first conviction was in 2007 when he was found guilty of chasing deer with hounds. In the five years since the Act came into effect, only four individuals have been convicted for hunting.

Down’s latest conviction was based on video footage shot by The League Against Cruel Sports. Down claimed in his defense that he was looking for the stag, and more than two hounds are allowed for that phase of the hunt. Down, an experienced huntsman for twenty-one years, claimed that once the stag was found, he could not stop the hounds. The judge decided that Down could have called them back and fined him 2,920 pounds.

There have been over 180 successful prosecutions under the Hunting Act. Listed below is a brief summary of some of the cases that have been reported in the press. Please note that due to the large amount of prosecutions it is not possible to list details of all the cases here.

‘Hunter should have been charged with robbery’, says charity boss

An employee of the West Somerset Vale Fox Hounds has today been convicted of assault by beating, after he attacked Paul Tillsley, an investigations officer for the League Against Cruel Sports.

"Tolerance, understanding and dialogue are what we all seek.
Indeed, confrontation is not the country way."
Countryside Alliance, January 1999

When we started collating the research for this article, our intention was to make it slightly light-hearted, and treat the subject with a degree of humour. However, the more we thought about it, and the more information we received, the less we were able to do so. After all, two people have died due to the actions of huntsmen, and countless others have been seriously injured. Hunt violence is no joke.

The following cases are actual convictions of hunt supporters - you could multiply the number of these by 50 and still get nowhere the true number of incidents of violence against hunt protesters.

This article is also a damning indictment of the legal system. Even though many of the hunt supporters listed were found guilty of violent offences, only a few have been jailed. In what other section of society would someone get a community service order after attacking, and wounding, several people with a scythe?

Any sab based violent convictions anyone? Can't find any....

Yep the intent is always peaceful but history tells sabs you need to be prepared for the worse. You would expect people to rap up since they will be spending the day out in the field, snow and all

Is that so? Would be a mistake.

Right, taking the WIFE out for lunch, and you..?
