our one touch play was excepstional tonight.. best i've seen in a while.... SM had 15 men behind the ball, so we did well to get one not leist 5....

San Marino ffs, they shouldn't even be playing San Marino under any circumstances. Unless they can qualify out of a group containing all the other minnows that have been created in recent years with the break up of the soviet union etc.
As if there isn't enough footie without making the bigger teams play all of these no hopers.

i did like the way rooney seemed to take the responsibility in his stride,and the way the team as a whole passed and fought for the ball.

it's 'you're' !!! and i'm not martian, and i can spell very well, i just type to quickly and with 2 fingers... if i slow down porpusfully i can do pretty well with my spelling

Too many missed opportunities, not good flowing play... should have buried 'em 10-0 really, but i think 5-0 was on balance a fair reflection.
