Hi,

To sleeve it, can I use electric tape? It is only like 1-2 cm long.

Many Thanks

Jerry

Perhaps you have a bit of old 3 core flex hanging about. You could strip a bit of green and yellow insulation off it, and slide it over the bare earth wire - if it's big enough.

ok,

Is it against any regulation to electric tape? I thought electric tape is for insulation purposes.

Many Thanks

Most PVC electric tape is rubbish and comes unstuck after a year or two in hot/cold conditions.
Then you are left with a sticky bare wire.

Use sleeving, you know it makes sense.

The requirements will allow for a bare earth(CPC) cable to be identified by use of tape, I personally would not and would purchase some green and yellow PVC sleeving.
And the tape is not electric nor an insulator.
