My personal opinion is that same sex marriage should be allowed but they should NOT be allowed to adopt children.
What if they 'opt out' though, LMB? You'd be OK with that wouldn't you?
Either way, I don't see it as a political issue - leave it to the Churches.

I think everyone should be allowed to suffer being married !
Marriage by definition is between two opposite sex persons, so when it is between two same sex persons, it simply should not be called a marrige, it should be given a different or a new name but not the word "Marriage" so may be they should come up with a new word which then does not offend the majority who are born without a defcetive brain!
If I was gay or had gayish tendencies, i am sure that would mean I am born with some defective brain cells!

What's wrong with it? to marry means to form a union based on the local laws or customs, and it doesn't describe the sexuality of the people involved. If you can't marry because you take part in 4n4l sex, then that rules out a third of man/woman marriages... !!
