You don't often see it done neatly like that. More normally they'd all be just thrown loose into a tray in a big untidy bunch - and the tray is optional :roll:

What's the grouping factor for that lot, then? :-)
You may think that's just a quip, but it is actually becoming a significant issue in some places. Before PoE (Power over Ethernet), there was effectively b***er all power going down each cable - but now it's not uncommon to have lots of devices (phones being a typical case) powered over their network cable.
Actually, non-IP phones are also powered over the cable, and in such installations it will be the same cables.

if each device pulled the full spec (15.4W at (IIRC) 48V - so 16mA in 4 cores typically)), then there can be heating issues in the cables when heavily bundled. It's one of the factors restricting power increases - not that it's stopping them !
