What a craven, spineless and self-defeating attitude.

have you blown the h/g yet ? Do you know anything about currency conversion or what it costs UK business? I thought not
Tony, you still live in the 50's , your idea's on economics are embarrassing. I suggest you read a book before writing anymore. The arrogant 'we know it all' attitude has caused our decline still persists with fools like you. As I said if things are to get better these attitudes must change, I wish. Bedtime now, Ciao stupido

That's why Germany was successful in the 60s, 70s, 80s and onwards. They formed workers unions that worked with management to plan, change and modernise industry to the benefit of everybody. We also formed unions of course but our lot worked against management, refused to change, refused to modernise and the only planning that took place it was a plan to destroy our industries. We are all now suffering the consequences.I'm just watching this programme now (recorded earlier).
The reason why Germany's car industry is going from strength to strength and ours has died is very simple.
In Germany they all pull together.
In Britain we all pull in different directions.
And that applies to all industry and many aspects of life in general.
Too late to change now, of course.![]()
Tony, not an insult a fact. Clearly you have no idea what you are on about. JBR, any one can change if they/you really want to.
Hilarious, we're talking about British Leyland aren't we?Utter rubbish, the people who run the show did nothing to help but line their pockets
