Should the UK be arming the Syrian rebels?

Never mind arming the rebels, looks like the yanks, the UK and the frogs are going in. At least some long range missile or bombing campaign. Glad Im sitting out the latest round of the crusades.

"Should we arm...?" Yes, if it's financially beneficial to us.

Doubt it. The guns are more likely to be Ruskie or German.

Hope this shoite is over soon, so there's something more interesting on the news. But then, it's bound to kick off somewhere else, then it's different country, same action.

Do we really need blanket coverage of primitive tribes trying to eradicate each other?

It makes good television. Infotainment they call it. Remember shock and awe, the B-52's lumbering out of that RAF base and about 4 hours later lighting up the Baghdad skyline. Sky News coverage of bombing Damascus will have ratings to rival Corrie.

It makes television. Whether it's good TV, maybe it says more about the quality of other programmes.

It's getting so I can't be bothered to watch the news. Too much devoted to one part of the world. Last year Libya, this year Syria. Maybe Egypt. Where next year? Yawn!

May look at the local news and weather, but main news, rarely. Too much like Groundhog Day.

How long before Orla Guerin and a UN peacekeeping force are on their way?

So the Sirian rebels want help from the US and Europe? Have they forgotten that last year they were targeting Christians and beheaded a Christian man feeding his body to the dogs?

What is Ellal's opinion on this. He is very quiet. Should the US help the muslims or be f**ked and keep their noses out?

A fine looking woman.

Definitely stay out of it, and put up the price of bullets and guns. We have a trade deficit to fill!

If we kill Muslims they order a Jihad against us, if Muslims kill Muslims so what? Not many heading for Syria are there?

You gotta love this one even if you've never lived in Melbourne .
Some of you (pilots...) will enjoy this more than others....Victorians can be so polite!

Melbourne Tower : "Saudi Air 511 -- You are cleared to land on runway 9R."
Saudi Air : "Thank you Melbourne . Acknowledge cleared to land on infidel's runway 9R –
Allah be Praised."
Melbourne Tower : " Iran Air 711 - You are cleared to land on runway 27L."
Iran Air : "Thank you Melbourne . We are cleared to land on infidel's runway 27L. - Allah is Great."

Pause....
Saudi Air : " MELBOURNE TOWER - MELBOURNE TOWER !"
Melbourne Tower : "Go ahead Saudi Air 511..."
Saudi Air: "YOU HAVE CLEARED BOTH OUR AIRCRAFT FOR THE SAME RUNWAY GOING IN OPPOSITE DIRECTIONS. WE ARE ON A COLLISION COURSE . ... .. .. ... INSTRUCTIONS, PLEASE!"
<ATT00002.jpg>
Melbourne Tower : "Well bless your hearts, and praise Jesus. Proceed to your destination and tell Allah we said "Hi".
