I suggest anyone interested in the Mc Cann thing read the link.
It rebuffs all the conspiracy nonsense that others keeps spouting and explains just about all you need to know.
Now that I have read it i do not need to contribute any more to this thread.
I am not convinced the Mc's are innocent, far from it, but at least the wiki page explains why the forensic evidence has been looked at and discounted by both the Porto police and our own.
There is no mystery.

I agree totally... this is a great resource - I have said this many times.... yet there is a core of numskullishness which assumes it can take control. It adds very little and responds vigourously and occasionally...Somby, as others have said/suspected, Joe must have a majority share/interest in this forum. That's the reason he's not been banned. It's a real shame, that such a useful forum (and it is in the other sections. A really useful mine of information and a good reference point for any diy related problem/query) God

We all know why you've been 'thanked' so much and never been banned: you are a mod/admin. You regularly give yourself 'thanks' and ignore any requests that you ban yourself.

I think I've tolerated Joe for long enough.
I don't mind his silly remarks as he can't have much of substance to say, but what I cannot abide is his superior attitude.
I have a great deal of respect for those who are better than me in some respect, but do not feel the need to shout about it. Needless to say, the opposite sort of person deserves no respect from me.
I'm going to try to ignore Joe now, at least for a while. I think that's the best way. That doesn't mean I'd press the 'ignore' button: as I've said before, I don't believe in things like complaining to the mods which is, I believe, one of Joe's tactics.
I'd appreciate it if Joe would reciprocate and ignore me, but I suspect his natural instinct will be to try to wind me up in the hope that getting me to respond would be the equivalent of him winning a medal!
