Correct the classic is older and i would pick that over the two, but only if i was forced to have a worcester, i would have most boilers apart from worcester they are crap

The CDI Classic is a outstanding boiler. We install around 80-100 a year and have very few problems with them.

The compact is a good boiler but I like the classic better.

If you do go with either you will get the best back up service in the industry.

Good luck

thanks for that minion much appreciated the feedback

The CDi classic has been around for a long time. Very few issues with them. Unlike Dan and several others that rarely see them I look after a considerable number. Parts are easily available and Worcester backup is always there if you need it.

And you'll need both.

Just make sure you polish the inside of all the pipes and fitting, and fit a 1,000,000micron filter

Although i agree with Guru on parts availability (merchants carry around 98%of spares other 2%cosmetics my guy tells me) and the back up is good,
I look after a fair few and seem to replace pinholed plastic shyte like its going out of fashion,
After a day off repairing worcesters my hands are usually bruised and bleeding.

Go for a Baxi platinum ,10 year warranty and its a mid priced boiler, i have one myself purely for the warranty.

Intergas atag vaillant and worcester all more expensive with warranties ranging from 2 years to 7

Thanks for that if i couldn't find answer that why you ask not berated me, it all, needs straight forward answer which i no have thankyou
