A Filipina woman was also due to be executed but was reportedly spared at the last minute.
Mary Jane Fiesta Veloso was spared after the person who allegedly recruited her to act as a drug courier surrendered to police, the Jakarta Post reports.
If you were shot in the heart, how long would it take to die? There must be oxygenated blood in your head.
Nothing like the miserable slow deaths they dish out.If you were shot in the heart, how long would it take to die? There must be oxygenated blood in your head.

I agree. They knew the consequences, yet their greed drove them to do it. I think the world would be a much better place if all drug dealers were executed but, of course, we are too soft to even consider such things.
I doubt that collateral damage is at the forefront of either the executioners or the victims thoughts. When a high velocity bullet enters flesh the surrounding tissue is pulverised.
I saw a programme where I think it was a Nitrogen atmosphere. This is very interesting.
I wonder which method of execution is the most 'pleasant'.
