This sort of thing surely proves that they are 'economic migrants' out to get as much as they can from anyone daft enough to let them in. Throwing away food and water in an attempt to stir the consciences of the hand-wringers in the hope that they'll push the authorities into changing their minds.

Extrapolating the whole situation from the action off a few is at best nieve at worst counter productiveand unhelpfull

You're right. Theses Syrian 'refugees' who seem mostly to consist of young men in their twenties (maybe the Syrian population mainly consists of men in their 20s, or more likely they're economic migrants, cherry-picking the country that gives them the most) have upped their game and are rioting at the Hungarian border. Of course they are angry that their God/allah-given right to march in their millions through any country they please, bringing chaos and mayhem to the local population, has been denied them.
Hungary seems to be the only country in Europe that has kept it's head in the last few weeks. They seem to be a lone voice, outlining their fears for their own people's security and not wanting to inflict the dangers that always follow with letting large numbers in from alien and conflicting cultures. Apparently, the Hungarians have accepted a small number of Christian migrants from Syria. Who knows? With our 'leaders' determined to destroy civilisation - in years to come some Europeans may be forced to flee to countries like Hungary, to claim asylum so that they have a chance of living in peace.

Yes, how can even a wealthy country like Germany absorb a million homeless people in the space of 12 to 24 months. It's mad, and the Red Cross, etc in Germany are already besieged and unable to cope. The practicalities of feeding, housing, schooling and providing medical care for such numbers will be daunting.
Usual politicians' vanity. People like Merkel make grand promises, but the German people will have to pay the price. By the time the impact is really felt, Merkel will be well into her next job.

A lot of these migrants appear to quite well off, they have expensive mobile phones and credit cards and some have come from as far away as India and China.

Yes, many of the migrants invading Europe aren't even Syrian. There are already reports of non-Syrians disposing of their passports and claiming to be from Syria when they reach Germany.
