Thought I'd watch this as it is highly acclaimed.

It's supposed to have been released internationally on Netflix but I can't find it.

"All six episodes will be available on Netflix starting November 18 in the U.S., Canada, Australia, New Zealand, France, DACH, Benelux and the Nordics".

Agreed. I can't see it on there. "internationally" would seem to be "except the UK" in this case.
I like Netflix, but the regional thing is annoying.

It's a "reado" on my part.

Whatever; I cannot see it on there. The only things I see with a search for "River" are "Lost River" and something with Joan Rivers.

No, not a typo.

I did join Netflix when I was in Spain. Perhaps they think I'm still there.

Not a tech wiz; I don't know how these things work.

Ah, gotcha.

Yes, it all depends on where you set up the account.

A friend of my son's came over from Maryland and was able to access his account here and the content was different to ours.

I read (and it may be wrong) that the accounts were all the same, but their site was aware of your location. Hence using a proxy to spoof their site into thinking you are somewhere else and getting access to content from the States for example. Strictly against their rules but a lot of people do it. There was something on the news this week about them stopping people doing it.
