Just had 2 20w LED PIR lights fitted
The Electrician took supply from ring main via a fused spur
Problem is that when ever we use any appliance on the ring ie an iron that draws some current
the lights come on outside
Is there anything we can do
Cant change any wiring as all the walls are now plastered

That shouldn't happen. Have you reported this problem to the electrician?

Kind Regards, John

I take it you have a separate PIR then? The Poly20 doesn't have one built in (that's the Poly20PIR). What is the model of PIR?

Do other lights in the house go dim or flicker when items such as the kettle or oven are switched on?

Sounds like the PIR does not like transient spikes on the mains feed. Not the sign of a good product.
As above the first thing you should do is
Have you reported this problem to the electrician?

You could try and put a snubber across the mains supply to the PIR, but there's no guarantee of this being effective.
One of these might work.

I have emailed the electrician as these are the items that he recommended for the job and supplied
I will investigate the issue of spikes on the mains as welk
