Hi, I was hoping I could have some advice. Replacing my integrated dishwasher. Original cold water feeder pipe is this...

On my new dishwasher, rather than have the usual flush cold water connector at the back like my old dishwasher, I noticed my new dishwasher has this 1.5 metre pipe instead which I wasn't expecting...

The two connectors don't fit each other, so what should I do? You see there won't be enough space for the cold water feeder pipe and this new unexpected 1.5 metre pipe round the back. Even if it did fit it would be very bunched up and coiled round. I was thinking the existing cold water feeder pipe will have to go and the new pipe attached to the dishwasher snake round to the original connection under the sink.

However to be clear I am not a tradesman, so I do not know. Any advice appreciated. Those x2 connectors as follows for reference. Thanks

The professional solution is to extend the house cold water supply pipe to nearer the dw and fit a valve

Or the diy approach is to join the pipes with a '3/4 inch washing machine inlet hose joiner'

Thanks everyone, removed the old pipe, connected underneath the sink and all is well. Thanks for your help.
