No, I've never been to places like Staffs. Lots of poor families are being exiled from London because their housing benefit no longer covers the rent. It's the cuts, you see............

From a "broken" / split family as well. Some use this as an excuse, I used it as the grounds how not to bring my children up.

Me Ma is a pragmatic drunk so it only became a problem when other stuff was mixed in. Otherwise my upbringing was no different from any other child growing up in the late 70's in a broken home.
