German coalition talks collapse

Could work in our favour, but knowing the Germans, they'll sort it out soon.

there's another European country with an unstable minority government propped up by buying the votes of a small regional party.

Where is it again?

Royeaume-Uni I think they call it for the moment.

Maybe the EU will now recognize that the UK has an established government and Germany is now the 'shambles'. ;)

The coalition has collapsed due a disagreement over the number of migrant dependants they want to let into Germany

greens want no limit , the others have put a cap of 200.000 on it ??

Biggest mistake Merkel made was letting in 1 million refugees , chickens have come home to roost now.

Talk on Channel 4 news is that it could end up with her out the door

And another election could mean more votes for anti-imigration parties.

There is now realisation in Germany that the EUs refusal to acknowledge the difficulties free movement of people has caused to nation states.

And led to the UKs referendum. (although, Ive never believed immigration to be the issue).

it must be terrible living in a country with a weak and unstable government, trying to prop itself up with a coalition.

I'm not surprised Theresa wants to resign.
