george soros funding anti-brexit campaign

A bit disingenuous of the best for Britain site to claim they need money to fight the governments extreme Brexit, if the terms of Brexit have not yet been finalised how the hell does best for Britain know that we are in for an extreme Brexit.
Because TM et al have told us, and keep telling us.

The flip side of that statement is a bad deal is better than no deal ,if the opposition know that that is your negotiating position then you are more than likely to be screwed over.

Surely:
The flip side of that statement is a bad deal is better than any deal.

"No deal is better than a perfect deal" is also true.

Who knows what they meant?

I cannot understand why individuals/bankers/traders et al are permitted to gamble and profit on a country's economy/exchange rates/FTSE going down. It can only encourage these same people to talk down the economy thus making a quick buck or two. Should be banned.

Leavers seem to enjoy getting their knickers in a twist about 'foreigners' getting involved in issues surrounding Brexit, so it would be interesting to hear what they think about this: http://www.independent.co.uk/news/w...ler-single-market-customs-union-a8185336.html

"A New Zealand-born backer of a think tank advocating a hard Brexit has obtained an EU passport through Malta, it has been reported.

Christopher Chandler, founder of Legatum, which backs leaving the single market and the customs union, has become a citizen of the Mediterranean island.

Critics branded the move double standards as the passport would give him the right to live and work in any European country. A hard Brexit is expected to leave Britons without that same privilege."

Shhh! Quitters will explode if they think the wealthy hard Brexteers have a back door to the EU. Unthinkable really. Everything seems so sensible to them after brainwashing speeches by the Quitter faithful. Don't burst their bubble.

Personally, regardless of my unstated opinion of Brexit, this is totally unacceptable. A non national inteferring with a sovereign states democratic process.... very bad. (OMG. that reads like a trump tweet .. worrying !)

I appreciate you are talking about a non-national promoting Brexit.
But just to be clear; George Soros and Gina Miller hold British citizenship.

It's the inevitable hypocricy of those at the top, combined with the pragmatic approach of hedging your bets, and keeping your options open. Pretty sensible really. Look at all the English that have applied for Irish passports.

George Soros is a Hungarian Jew and Gina Miller was born in Guyana ,their links with the UK are tenuous to say the least, there was a time when a British passport was something to be valued nowadays there are people with British passports who can't speak English and couldn't find Britain on a map even if they tried.
