Isolator pull cord ceiling switch for bathroom fan.

Hi, how do you replace the cord for this type of switch? not able to get to where cord is fixed un like normal pull light switch. this is the second one to go wrong in a year you have to use a lot of force to turn on and off.Thanks for any help.

Isolators are not intended for regular control - they are there for the occasional use when the fan requires cleaning or other maintenance.

If it's being used to turn the fan on and off all the time, change it to a normal pull switch.
