No shock at all.

Omfg this thread is interesting thanks for the quotes people. Watching with interest.

I won’t be saying anymore. I saw a post of yours yesterday and wondered why was I wasting my own time on random weirdos on the Internet.

Go on then, while I wait for the kettle to boil. Your prejudice against him because of his religious beliefs:

He hears voices
That's what he said.
faith comes by hearing the word of God.

He needs to go and see a doctor
I think it is generally regarded as good advice that if someone is hearing voices they should seek medical attention.

But that has nothing to do with religion - whose voice(s) he hears or what the voices are telling him have no bearing on advice that he ought to seek help.

He should go away
Yes, for wilfully ignoring incontrovertible evidence and continuing to make false allegations.

But that has nothing to do with religion - it doesn't matter what the evidence he was attempting to deny was about - denying it and lying about people are wrong.

If you don't think that there is anything wrong with denying facts, lying, and making false allegations against people, what does that say about your standards of morality, decency, and honesty?

He needs help
A rehash of the first point, Because he "hears the voice of God", because he is delusional, he believes that everybody in the entire world is inherently profoundly immoral and wicked, and needs "help". That position is patently untrue and irrational.

But that has nothing to do with religion - to claim that voices you hear and irrational beliefs mean that everybody is inherently evil is more proof of the advisability of seeking help.

He is delusional
Delusions are .. unshakable beliefs in something that isn’t true or based on reality.

A delusion is a firm and fixed belief based on inadequate grounds not amenable to rational argument or evidence to contrary

There is not a scrap of evidence to support his beliefs.

But that has nothing to do with religion - delusions can be about anything. I'd call him deluded if he popped up insisting that the world was flat, or The Queen was actually a lizard.

He is on the spectrum
He is somewhere on a spectrum of intensity of religious beliefs, surely?

I really can't see why you would object to Vinty using that term.

Do you really not think that there can be a spectrum of intensity of religious beliefs, say from people who pray now and then, or only attend religious ceremonies for major life events, to those who think they should kill non-believers or transgressors?

Try claiming that you don't and see how many people agree with you.

He needs more professional help
I did not say that to breadnbutter. You're not very good at this, are you.

He needs shutting down
It doesn't matter how strong his delusions are - they remain delusions and he does not know that they are true, he just irrationally believes it.

But it is not because they are religious delusions that I object to him saying he knows they are true.

So despite all the explanations above clearly showing that it was bnb's acts I objected to, not his subject matter, for example that having delusions and hearing voices are a matter of concern no matter what they are about, you still, with no evidence whatsoever, carry on making that false allegation.

Apart from you being utterly ******* useless at this, what's your excuse?
